It is a brownish grey colored powder based on manganese oxides. when added to coal fuel or other solid fuel, coal, breeze coal, lump coal, bituminous coal, Bagasse, Jute waste (Caddy), Rice husk, Wood, Biomass, etc.

It helps in proper burning (higher evolution of heat), reduces clinker formation in kilns, boilers, chula (Bhati), hot air dryer, heaters, evaporators, furnaces, etc reduces ash deposition and fouling of boiler tubes, which enhances heat transfer phenomenon so that maximum energy benefit can be derived resulting into a direct economy - saving of fuel and depending upon calorific value of fuel, fuel air ratio, fuel firing method, ash disposal system etc. In short Boilers, Evaporators, Cement Factoring Kilns and Furnaces and also places utilizing hot air for dryers, obtained from burning of coal.
