Current BSNL Landline telephones will be Discontinued in the coming time. BSNL is providing the facility for the conversion for existing Landline telephone number to FTTH. (Optical Fibre)
The new FTTH connection will also have the broadband facility. The new installation will be done completely free by the BSNL. There are different monthly packages available and the Members can choose the package as per there requirement. Interested Members can submit the application in the following format at our city-office.

Dear Members,
There have been a few incidents of stock verification at some of our dealers premises by SGST authorities in last few days.
In this connection we had a meeting with the Special Commissioner, SGST, Mr Sonam Wangdi Bhutia, IAS, at his office today. We handed over a deputation to him regarding inconvenience and stress it is causing to our members and discussed the issue at length. The special Commissioner informed us that a drive is going on as per directions of the Election Commission to verify the stock of sensitive items. In view of the ensuing Parliament election 2024, Election commission has identified some items as sensitive and the list contains few items dealt in by our members such as Tarpaulin and carry bags.
Members dealing in such items are requested to please update their stocks and keep the records ready such as stock register, sale and purchase vouchers etc. Also please ensure that all the godowns are reported and appear in the GST certificate.
The Hon'ble Commissioner has assured that verification will be carried out without undue inconvenience to the dealer. However, if you experience any problem during the verification at your premises, kindly inform us so that matter can be taken up with the department.

In a joint meeting of HMA & NBMDA, an agreement has been reached with Siliguri Dokan Sramik Karmachari Union as follows:-
1. An increment of Rs. 525/-P.M. will be given to all the employees with retrospective effect from September 2023 to August 2024.
2. Another increment of Rs. 525/- P.M. will be given to them with effect from September 2024 to August 2025.
Members are requested to pay the arrears within 29th February 2024.

Dear Members,
We have welcomed the New Year 2024 with a hope of happiness for everyone around us.
Happiness is incomplete without good health and to promote health we will be organizing a Mega Blood Donation Camp in association with Terai Lions Blood Bank & Maharaja Agrasen Lions Magnum Blood Bank, Free Health, Diabetic & Eye check up camp with the help of Lions Club of Siliguri (Netralaya) on the 26th of January 2024 Friday in front of our city office from 10 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
We will be having BP, Blood Sugar, Eye, Aquapressure Consultant & a Dentist Dr. Ankita Jain (Agarwal) at our free health check up camp.
A blood donation camp cannot be successful without blood donors and we are looking forward to
our members donating blood to help the society as a whole. We would request you to help make this
camp a huge success by donating at least 2 units of blood from each member firm.

Our HMA Trade Fair CONWOO 2023 is at the threshold. Our preparation are going on full swing to make this event a super success. For this we also need your full co-operation to further the importance and success of this event.
We would like you to make note of the following points:-
1. As the trade fair is connected with our products, you all are requested to invite all your Dealers contractors, plumbers, carpenters and others at the trade fair.
2. opening ceremony is on 22nd December 2023 at 12:30PM by the Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, kindly reach the venue before this time. All the stall owners are requested to complete their stall preparation by 21st December. NO WORK WILL BE ALLOWED AFTER THIS DUE TO SECURITY REASON.
3. All the stall owners should pay all the due amount to the EVENTAGE and take NOC from them at the earliest. You will not get the possession of the stall untill your payments are clear.
